Eucharistic Pilgrimage Comes to Cathedral
June 22 and 23
National Eucharistic Pilgrimage
Thousands followed Christ throughout His earthly ministry. Since His Resurrection, countless Christians have traveled to holy sites in order to connect concretely with places where heaven and earth have touched.
While pilgrimages have a long legacy within the Church, this is the first undertaken at such a scale—walking coast-to-coast with Our Eucharistic Lord!
This summer there will be 4 pilgrimage routes to the National Eucharistic Congress in July.
From the Pacific coast, the western arm of the Pilgrimage will cross the Rocky Mountains and Great Plains on foot. The Junipero Serra Route will be the longest and most challenging branch of the pilgrimage—covering over 2,200 miles!
Saint Cecilia Cathedral is one of the stops along this route. We are planning a weekend of events to honor our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. Plan to join us.
