The Saint Cecilia Parish Conference of the Saint Vincent de Paul Society has a mission to witness God’s love by embracing all works of charity and justice. Help the success of their mission to respond to requests for assistance with rent, food, utilities, and other emergency needs.

FAITH FORMATION PROGRAMS  -  Donate now!

Our religious education program assists parents with the responsibility of faith formation and preparation to receive sacraments for children attending public schools or home schooling. Donations provide supplies, educational materials, and teaching support.

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the ordinary process for non-baptized persons to enter the Catholic Church, and for those baptized in other Christian denominations who wish to come into full communion with the Catholic Church. Donations help fund group dinners at their weekly formation meetings, as well as instructional materials.

Our K of C Council is the oldest in Nebraska, and active in the support of priestly and religious vocations, Right to Life issues, and support of programs for the needy and disabled. They also provide equipment, supplies, and volunteers for many of our parish events and dinners.

Our Catholic Daughters serves the current needs of the church and country with special concern for women, mothers, and family life in the civic arena. They engage in activities in support of leadership, education, youth, quality of life, legislation, and spirituality.

Our Women’s Guild encourages spirituality, community, and friendship among the women of Saint Cecilia. They work to bring women together outside of the celebration of the Mass, and enable them to live and grow in their faith through fellowship.

FUNERAL LUNCH PROGRAM  -  Donate now!

Our funeral lunch ministry is a unique expression of community, hospitality, and support on the day of a funeral. These volunteers offer practical relief from the task of addressing the needs of family and friends gathered to celebrate the life of the deceased. Volunteers help coordinate the catering of the luncheon event, prepare the Parish Center Dining Room, and provide desserts and coffee.

FLOWER GUILD  -  Donate now!

This group of volunteers decorates the Cathedral for each liturgical season, as well as the multiple Archdiocesan events held at Saint Cecilia each year. You’ve seen their work at the annual Cathedral Flower Festival, and with the annual advent wreath and Easter topiaries, as well as altar displays in the sanctuary and all around the Cathedral. Donations help pay for fresh and faux floral products, supplies, and equipment.

CAMPUS GROUNDS, PLANTS, & GARDENS  -  Donate now!

This year-round ministry is committed to improving and maintaining the exterior appearance of the Saint Cecilia campus. Activities include planting, watering, weeding, raking, pruning, and cleanup of the many plants and flower gardens at Saint Cecilia.
