Worship and Prayer

Eucharistic Adoration

Eucharistic Adoration is prayer before the Blessed Sacrament in a close, personal conversation with a living person -- the risen Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. This is just one of the ways the Holy Spirit moves within our parish to nurture the spiritual lives of our parish, our families, and our country.

All who wish to devote one hour of time to Our Lord are invited.

Eucharistic adoration is available, and practiced, throughout the week and every week of the year, in the main church between the hours of 6:30 am to 6:30 pm (the exception is Sunday morning, owing to the morning Mass schedule).

Adoration before the exposed Blessed Sacrament is the First Friday of each month in Our Lady of Nebraska Chapel from Noon to 6:00 pm. Benediction follows at 6:00 pm.

That Man Is You

Tom Adams / 402-551-4855

This interactive men’s program combines the best research from science with the teachings of the Catholic faith and the wisdom of the Saints to develop the vision of a man fully alive. It provides formation for the leadership role that has been entrusted to men and addresses the temptations and struggles men face in a culture that attacks the command of God in our lives. The group meets in the Parish Center dining room on Tuesdays from 6:00 to 7:00 pm.

Holy Grounds

Charles Adams / 402-676-3243     Joe Zaborowski / 402-691-6706

Holy Grounds is a men’s group that meets weekly on Saturday mornings to both develop a fellowship among its members and support each other in their spiritual development. The group begins with breakfast and   fellowship followed by discussion from the reading material for that week. This is a unique opportunity to develop bonds with men in the parish. Join them at Village Inn on 44th & Dodge at 6:30 am.
